Transmutation: Alchemists are skilled in the art of rearranging matter to suit whatever purpose they need. On the battlefield, this can prove to be extremely useful. Twice per day, an Alchemist can break down the matter of a weapon, or up to 30 pieces of ammunition, and turn it into a weapon or group of ammunition of equal or lesser value, respectively (I.E. Turn a Longsword into a Javelin, Turn 30 Arrows into 30 Crossbow Bolts).

Alchemical Restoration: Dented armor, spider’s poison, and even an unlaced boot can prove to be fatal in battle. Once per encounter, an Alchemist may allow himself/herself or an adjacent ally to make a save against any debilitating effect that a save can end.

Alchemical Disarray: Just as an Alchemist can remove hindrances from himself/herself and his/her allies, an Alchemist can also bestow such inconveniences upon an enemy. Once per encounter, when an Alchemist hits with a melee attack or is hit by a melee attack, the Alchemist can choose to either bestow a -1 penalty to attack rolls (save ends) or a -1 penalty to AC (save ends) on the hit/hitting enemy.

Alchemical Reinforcement: Alchemists are very skilled at manipulating stone, wood, and metal to make defensible fortifications out of even the simplest materials. Twice per day, an Alchemist can reinforce a door, window, or other such barricade or portal, effectively increasing the DC to break down the portal by 5.

Alchemy: Alchemists gain the Alchemy feat as a bonus feat at 1st level.
